Dal suo buen retiro nizzardo il Cavaliere ha battuto un colpo. E che colpo.
Ha avuto l’ardire ma anche la lucidità e il coraggio di prendere le distanze, finalmente, dai così detti sovranisti alla nostrana, Salvini e Meloni e, rompendo gli indugi, probabilmente accogliendo i suggerimenti di tecnici, economisti, imprenditori che intorno a lui non mancano, ha detto sì al MES, Meccanismo Europeo di Stabilità. Un meccanismo tristemente noto per le sciagure che ha causato in Grecia, riducendo quel Paese alla povertà ma dopo tante tribolazioni, aiutandolo a venir fuori da una situazione economica a dir poco drammatica.
Oggi, difronte alla epidemia virale, anche gli spocchiosi ed avari Paesi del Nord Europa hanno acconsentito che il famigerato MES cambi natura e possa concedere finanziamenti a chi in particolare difficoltà per la pandemia a condizioni assai vantaggiose, senza condizionalità, con la possibilità di rimborsi assai diluiti negli anni. Una vera boccata d’ossigeno per le nostre finanze assai malmesse.
Tant’è che Paesi in stato di necessità come il nostro, Francia e Spagna ed anche altri, non hanno avuto dubbi sul voler ricorrere al MES.
Rimanevamo noi. Con una maggioranza di governo incerta per la posizione intransigente e contraria assunta dal M5S.
Ma alla fine è arrivato il Cavaliere, mai bianco come in questa occasione, che si è sbaffato dei proclami bellicosi di Salvini, della isterica contrarietà della Meloni, della sciocca ritrosia della maggior parte dei suoi parlamentari più attenti alle tatticità per una futura rielezione che non ad un innovativo e coraggioso progetto politico, che con decisione e fermezza ha spiegato che nelle condizioni in cui ci troviamo, senza il becco di un quattrino, nel mezzo di una bufera pandemica, con il rischio che fra qualche mese non si ritrovino neanche i soldi per pagare stipendi e pensioni, sarebbe da irresponsabili non solo rinunciare ad un finanziamento a condizioni assolutamente irripetibili ma soprattutto rompere ogni solidarietà europea.
Questo è il Berlusconi che si andava cercando ormai da anni e non solo in Italia ma anche in Europa, un politico che nelle occasioni difficili, persino drammatiche, abbia l’autorevolezza e il carisma di andare contro corrente, di far apparire i suoi alleati, ma ancora potranno esserlo?, come figuranti strapaesani solo attenti ai torcibudelli del popolo ma non al loro avvenire e soprattutto a quello dei loro figli, a ricondurre i balbettanti ed incerti grillini, capitati in una vicenda più grande delle loro capacità, nelle file dei soldati che possono al massimo obbedire e combattere.
Da questa scelta di Berlusconi si apre un nuovo scenario. Si riscopre una opposizione di stampo europeo, popolare e non populista , non sovranista, ma convinta, come la stragrande maggioranza degli italiani, che da questo momento si potrà uscire come popoli d’Europa e non solo come lumbard o peggio, con nazionalismi alla amatriciana.

This is Berlusconi who has been seeking for years now and not only in Italy but also in Europe, a politician who on difficult, even dramatic occasions, has the authority and charisma to go against the current, to make his allies appear, but will they still be able to do so?, as extracurricular figures only attentive to the torcibudelli of the people but not to their future and above all to that of their children, to bring back the stammering and uncertain grillini, who happened in a story bigger than their capabilities, in the ranks of the soldiers who can at best obey and fight.
From this choice of Berlusconi a new scenario opens. A European, popular and non-populist, non-sovereign opposition is being rediscovered, but convinced, like the vast majority of Italians, that from now on you can come out as peoples of Europe and not only as lumbard or worse, with Amatriciana nationalisms .
