Coronavirus, in Wuhan, block roads to avoid the exodus.

The updated balance: 106 deaths and over 4000 infections. The Chinese authorities have recommended their compatriots to avoid traveling abroad. The start of schools and universities has been postponed indefinitely.
The alarm for the spread of coronavirus does not subside. Barriers in the streets have been set up in Wuhan, the outbreak city of the disease, to prevent citizens from leaving the area en masse. This eventuality would increase the risk of contagion while the Chinese authorities hope to be able to contain the spread of the virus by isolating the most affected centers.
Meanwhile, the death toll has risen to 106 while 1,300 new cases of contagion have been confirmed that bring the national total in China to over 4000. The authorities of Beijing have made it known, specifying that of the 106 dead, 100 have died in the province of Hubei, outbreak of the epidemic. China has decided to postpone sine die the beginning of the second semester for schools and universities in efforts to contain the coronavirus epidemic. The Ministry of Education, with students in the midst of the Lunar New Year holidays, did not provide any further details.
There is a first confirmed case of Chinese coronavirus in Germany in the southeastern state of Bavaria. The Bavarian Ministry of Health announced this. “A man from the Starnberg area has been infected with the new virus” and “has been placed under medical supervision and in isolation,” said a spokesman for the ministry. The patient is “in good medical condition,” added the source without further details. The patient’s relatives have been informed of the symptoms that may appear in case of illness, as well as the hygiene precautions to be taken. The Bavarian Ministry of Health did not provide information on humans or on the circumstances in which he could have been infected with the virus.
