In un piccolo stato del nord degli Stati Uniti è iniziata l’infinita corsa per le elezioni presidenziali.
Nello Iowa i caucus hanno dato le prime indicazioni.
Un rituale originale in cui gli elettori si dispongono negli angoli delle sale dei circoli, delle chiese, delle palestre, a seconda del candidato da loro preferito. Sembra assistere ad un film della vecchia America, quella dei coloni quando sceglievano il loro sceriffo.
Nell’America super tecnologica va in tilt il sistema informatico e i risultati vengono trascritti a mano, uno a uno, con il risultato che mentre il modo attende, i risultati si fanno tardano oltre misura. Sono ritornati umani anche gli americani.
Dall’altra parte degli Stati Uniti, a Washington, al Congresso, assistiamo all’intervento sullo Stato dell’Unione da parte del Presidente Trump mentre dietro le sue spalle la speaker del Congresso, Nancy Pelosi, prima mostra tutto il suo disgusto poi, alla fine, platealmente strappa il testo del discorso del Presidente.
Forse gli Stati Uniti non sono poi così distanti dalla litigiosa e tanto vituperata Italietta.
